Description
The meadows of Presles-et-Thierny (situated at the foot of the Laonnois hills in the Aisne, and including the Prairie des Tue-Vaches, whose sinister name retains an unknown origin) constitute a site of exceptional natural richness.
Set within a typical undulating, wooded landscape, they combine open habitats (hay meadows, pastures, fallow land) with damp woodlands.
