The Ensemble Vocal Hémiole is a mixed choir comprising around thirty enthusiastic singers who have been contributing to the musical life of Kaysersberg and the surrounding area for over 30 years.
It has been conducted by Myriam Bloch-Losser since 2000.
Sometimes joined by soloists, the ensemble performs a cappella or accompanied by an organ, a piano or an instrumental ensemble.
It embraces a varied repertoire, ranging from sacred music of the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods, with concerts dedicated to Bach, Salieri or Gounod, whilst not neglecting secular works.
This year’s programme features: Klonowski, Brückner, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms ...
