This museum is devoted solely to the Battle of August 6, 1870. Passed to history under the name of "Battle of Reichshoffen", it is actually that of Froeschwiller for the French army and that of Woerth for the German army.
Found on the battlefield, most of the items on display testify to this painful past for France. A diorama of more than 4,000 pewter figurines retraces a moment of this battle in which so many brave fighters stood out.
