Flumet and St Nicolas la Chapelle, at the very centre of the Val d’Arly and at the crossroads between Savoie and Haute-Savoie, bring together a land of shared heritage. The medieval character of their main village centre is still evident, and their sacred history will transport you back in time.
Located in the Alps, Flumet and St Nicolas la Chapelle lie at the heart of the Upper Val d’Arly Mont-Blanc.
They are a true village-resort where authenticity, respect for nature and a wide range of sports facilities blend harmoniously.
In summer, Flumet / St Nicolas la Chapelle is a major tourist crossroads on the Route des Grandes Alpes and a centre for walks and excursions.
On foot or by mountain bike, gentle family outings or panoramic routes facing Mont Blanc: everyone finds their own pace to explore unspoilt landscapes of forests, flower-filled alpine pastures and mountain lakes.
Its lake is ideal for swimming and games, making it the must-visit spot on sunny days.
In winter, it’s the gentle version of the Alps: accessible skiing, snowshoe walks, sledging, Savoyard specialities and an authentic village under the friendly gaze of Mont Blanc.
It is also a gateway to the Espace Diamant ski area, easily accessible and offering varied slopes, ideal for families, beginners or leisure skiers.
But Flumet is not limited to alpine skiing: snowshoe trails and winter hikes lead through pristine landscapes, from snowy forests to magnificent Mont Blanc panoramas.
