Allemond

A small Alpine village on the banks of Lac du Verney, Allemond welcomes you to the enchanting natural setting of the Vallée de l'Eau d'Olle, offering you all the pleasures of water and mountains.
Allemond main asset consists in a large network of way-marked trails, for family walking activity or one-day hiking trips for example, throughout the Grandes Rousses and the Belledonne mountains. You will be able to explore the local heritage and the Alpine flora and fauna: ibex, chamois, marmots, gentians, orange lilies, edelweiss, etc.

If you want to have active holidays, you can do: hiking, MTB, cycling touring (passes, the famous Alpe d'Huez climb, etc.), fishing in mountain streams and lakes, etc. In Allemond, in summer, you can also do swimming at the swimming-pool, climbing, tennis and, at the watersports centre on the Verney Lake, pedalo, canoeing, windsurfing and Optimist.
