Come and enjoy the soothing countryside of the Bocage Vendéen: a land of history and nature where the past meets the future and valleys meet to form hills. You'll fall under the spell of these places and our gites. We've thought of everything you could possibly want. Come and relax, let go and recharge your batteries in the Vendée Valley for a peaceful holiday in a rural setting where you can choose between tranquillity and activities. La maison "Tournesol" is a functional, well-equipped and very comfortable gite. It has broadband internet access, a 42" connected TV, a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a children's area with large-screen TV and games console (PlayStation 3), books, games, DVDs, centralised electric shutters and a large terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs, parasol and barbecue to make you feel at home on holiday! A cot is available, but is not included in the accommodation price. Bed linen and towels can be provided on request. The number of people may not be exceeded without prior agreement.

Reservations may be extended to include other adjoining accommodation: Marie's house, which includes the 2-person "Capucine" studio, the 3-person "Iris" studio and the 5/7-person "Coquelicot" duplex, for a total capacity of up to 20 people in all of Logis La Fontaine.

Arrival from 4pm and departure before 12am (keys can be collected from a key box for late arrivals). Minimum stay 2 nights, except during the period from 1 July to 31 August when the minimum stay is 3 nights. Ideally located for visiting the Puy du Fou, this allows you to take a break at any time of day due to the proximity and ease of access to the large park (allows you to return for dinner in the evening before the show). You'll also find a wide range of activities on site: electric Mehari hire for audio-guided tours (www.ecomobileloisirs.fr), hiking, mountain biking and canoeing in the Poupet valley, where the Sèvre Nantaise flows and the famous Poupet Festival takes place. In the surrounding area, you'll be 20 minutes from the Parc Oriental in Maulévrier, the Cholet textile museum and the factory shops in La Séguinière, 1 hour from the Vendée coast and its beautiful beaches, 1 hour from the Marais Poitevins, 1 hour 30 minutes from Futuroscope, 1 hour from the machines on the Ile de Nantes and 1 hour from Terra Botanica in Angers.

Presentation of the area:
The neighbourhood is quiet. The house is located in a private cul-de-sac leading to the church square. You can take advantage of our plot, which gives direct access to a large public green space that can be seen from the house, allowing you to keep an eye on your children. The other private parts of the cul-de-sac must be respected.

There are two parking spaces directly in front of the property in the very quiet private cul-de-sac. Other vehicles can park in the church square, just a few dozen metres away.

For information, in order to plan your bed linen: The size of the mattresses is standard 90x190 for the single beds and 140x190 for the double beds and clic clac. Each bed is equipped with 2 pillows (standard and memory foam) and duvets (double or single, depending on sleeping arrangements).
