In the middle of 'Voyottes' in the 'Noue' district, work of art of Marcel Dhièvre.
La Noue is one of the oldest districts of Saint-Dizier.
It was once animated by sailors who delivered to Paris wood and cast iron floating on the Marne. They went to their homes crossing narrow alleyways, 'the riddles', formerly lined by low mud houses and vineyards.
At the corner of one of these 'chimney tracks' is a house with a very unusual decoration 'Au Petit Paris' by Bragard Marcel Dhièvre (1898-1977). Parisian monuments, floral and vegetable motifs in earthenware and bright colors brighten the Avenue of the Republic.
