Camargue Culture Public Park

Much more than just a leisure venue, the Aubord Public Park of Camargue Culture invites visitors to discover local traditions through facilities inspired by the world of the Camargue, combining games, relaxation and heritage.
Located in Aubord, the Camargue Culture Public Park is a unique leisure space entirely dedicated to exploring and promoting Camargue traditions. Designed as a place for relaxation, learning and sharing, it is aimed at both local residents and visitors wishing to immerse themselves in the region’s cultural identity.

The park offers leisure facilities accessible to all: children’s play areas, a pétanque court and a picnic area. But what makes it special is the presence of numerous elements emblematic of Camargue culture dotted throughout the site.

Visitors can, in particular, discover a ‘bouvaou’ – a traditional wooden arena used in the world of ‘bouvine’ (bullfighting) – as well as a ‘laupio’, a typical thatched-roof courtyard once found in Camargue farmhouses. An imposing Camargue cross and several interpretative displays also help visitors to better understand the traditions, skills and history of the Camargue.
