Description
This monument, which measures 12 meters long and 6 meters high, is the work of the sculptor Henri Louis.
It was completed at the end of World War II and was inaugurated on 27th June 1948.
They event was attended by numerous personalities including Vincent Auriol, the French president, accompanied by François Mitterand, the then Minister for War Veterans.
