It intends to complete and strengthen the supply of higher education in the area of Troyes by hosting and / or organizing graduate courses: École du Louvre and École de Chaillot (unique in Champagne-Ardennes), conferences, symposia or workshops, expositions prepared by other cultural services. It is also a tool available to associations for the development of the cultural heritage. Depending on the projects implemented by these organizations, the "Maison du Patrimoine" (Heritage House) may make its premises available.
To host events, the "Maison du Patrimoine" has the following facilities: showrooms (60 to 210 m2), 2 classrooms (10 to 18 seats), a 275-seat auditorium (8 places accessible to people with reduced mobility) and a documentation centre on the Heritage (350 books available by appointment). The activity of the "Maison du Patrimoine" has three highlights: the courses of the "Ecole du Louvre" and those of the "Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine" (City of Architecture and Heritage), expositions and conferences. The "Maison du Patrimoine" hosts nearly 5000 people throughout the year.
