Concert "Le swing de Jean de la Fontaine"

The Swing de la Fontaine project comes from Jean-Pierre Verny's repertoire. Reworked in jazz, the famous fables are full of spice. The show features 60 choristers under the musical direction of Sabine Aubert, a teacher at La Roche-sur-yon Conservatoire, with musical accompaniment by Sophie Heuzé, Mathias Bessonnet and Martin Pontoizeau. The choirs are directed by Mariejk Thery. With the participation of the VSA and Pays de Fontenay music schools, and the primary schools of Vouvant and Damvix.

An ambitious and demanding backing for an unusual concert. Jean De La Fontaine, a fervent provocateur in his day, would surely be pleasantly surprised by the jazz arrangement proposed by the author.
