Colombey-les-Deux-Eglises: the name of this village is renowned throughout the world as it is here that General de Gaulle was buried and where his house “La Boisserie”, can be visited.
A major scenographic area was opened there two years ago which recounts his life and what he achieved for France and for Europe: the “Charles de Gaulle Memorial”, situated at the foot of the Lorraine Cross. You can round off these visits by a champagne tasting session…as you are also in the heart of the vineyards!
The "Maison du Puisatier" had already been transformed into a "hunting lodge" but it has now become an upscale boutique hotel in the heart of a relaxing park (9 rooms including 1 suite) ... a true cocoon of quality ... tapestries old-fashioned, paintings tinged with romance ... but with a modern comfort that brings a touch of modernity! But what to say especially of the cuisine of this young starred chef, Jean-Baptiste Natali ... a great moment of virtuosity and freshness ... simmered in copper pans!
SHORT BREAKS with visits and activities from 331 to 665 €.
