Montricher-Albanne

Montricher-Albanne, made up of 6 hamlets, is the municipality that supports the Les Karellis resort, founded in 1975 by the municipality, its residents and Pierre Lainé, based on an ideal of social economy and associative tourism.
With an atypical range of full-board holidays and guaranteed snow thanks to its orientation, the resort is particularly well-suited to families and has been awarded the "Famille Plus" label.
In terms of scenery, Lac de Pramol offers a wild and serene panorama. As for curiosities, a "big larch" located above Albannette, on the way to the "Pain de Sucre", is over 500 years old and is listed as the largest larch in Europe! An eco-museum presenting local life and slate quarries completes the area's appeal.
