Lann Denet

In 2017, this path through the land called Lann Denet was the subject of a preventive archaeological dig as part of the development of the Kerlevic Artisanal Zone. The discovery of artefacts and building remains revealed very early human occupation of the site between the Late Neolithic and Bronze Ages, then between the Iron Age and the Middle Ages. Hardly surprising, given that this is the crossroads of the Gallo-Roman road from Rennes to Quimper and the ancient pre-Roman road from Locmariaquer to Carhaix.
