The Forge of Le Luguet
Description
Guides by the blacksmith, you will enter into the workings of the forge. The visit will finish with a demonstration with the fire.
The forge is located in a hamlet in the heart of the Cézallier region. The visit, led by the blacksmith, lasts around 1 hour. A store displays the blacksmith's creations as well as other products, and offers crêpes and drinks to enjoy on the panoramic terrace.

Emmanuel welcomes you to his forge in the heart of the Cézallier. As the saying goes "c'est en forgeant qu'on devient forgeron" ("it's by forging that you become a blacksmith"), he learned about forging from his uncle, and from books, and is now keen to share this passion with those who wish to discover or deepen their knowledge of the world of forging. This can be done in the course of an educational visit, or during a training course.
Sustainable tourism
The forge is located in a semi-buried building, in an old cowshed built to protect the animals from the cold winters of yesteryear. Thanks to this construction, the heat is constant, with temperatures ranging from 13° to 20° in both extreme cold and heatwaves.
