Before the French Revolution, the former parish of Melleray was divided between Maine and Normandy. Over the course of its history, it was home to a number of seigneuries, and took on its current territory by annexing land that was formerly part of the Orne region. Come and discover the heritage of this former commune, now part of Lassay-les-Châteaux.
