Following the work to renovate the social housing and repurpose the quai des Indes and the quai de Rohon, in 1994, a pedestrian walkway was arranged along the quai Eric Tabarly and the pier where in the 19th century, the huge sardine fishing fleet unloaded. The promenade provides access to the sea terminal serving the island of Groix. At the end of the pier is the lighthouse that marked the entrance to the pre-port and which has been transformed into a lookout area on the bay.
