The Mouissone estate is built around a collection of integrated thematic gardens within a multi-century olive grove of 3 hectares.
Perched at 400 meters above sea level, the property offers an exceptional panorama. True postcard, the landscape is a condensed Côte d'Azur.
The ambient setting of the olive grove is spread over twelve levels of terraces. Within this framework, the visitor is presented with a real discovery trail with a succession of landscape atmospheres in the sandstone of the altimetric levels, often with a visual escape on the external landscape. The buildings lined with lawns and massifs enjoy more open flat spaces, while the scrubland and the natural woods, on the outskirts, share the steep hillside.
The whole thus formed fully legitimizes its new name of "Jardins de l'Oliveraie".

The dual vocation of this superb site increases its interest tenfold. While the estate continues to grow olives in its original setting, the gardens continue to evolve. While the spectacular beauty of the trees, most of which are over 250 years old, is in itself worth the detour, the production of protected designation of origin olive oils and table olives is a strong added value. Organically farmed, the olive grove is perfectly integrated into the Grasse terroir. In 1998, Lady Lockett renovated the property, designing new restanques and gardens. For this Englishwoman with a passion for botany, the integration of these landscaped areas must take into account the specific features of the terroir and maintain the natural balance of the site.
