In the heart of Petit Andelys, a stone's throw from the Seine, Maison Carpe Diem is one of those places where you immediately feel good, where you serenely put down your suitcases with the feeling of being in the right place. Bruno and Laurent offer you an attentive and warm welcome. As soon as you arrive, you are in the mood : cocoon sofas near a small fire, cozy colours, pretty lights, beautiful materials, natural woodwork,... the eye is lost in the decor and discovers with pleasure the details, the objects.The superb veranda and its inside-outside spirit is a really pleasant room facing the charming walled garden and the Château Gaillard. On the 1st and 2nd floors of this charming house, the rooms, including 2 suites, offer contemporary decor and top-of-the-range comfort. Each elegantly combines antique and design furniture and objects, family or brought back from distant travels. Generous breakfast and table d'hôtes, based on good, often local produce. On the 1st floor, the Côté Seine room : parquet floor, light tones dominated by a pretty deep green, it is original with its canopy at the head of the bed (double bed 160x200). The Suite is spacious and offers great amenities : old parquet floors, character furniture mixed with beautiful design elements, dominant blue tones ; living room which can be transformed into a bed for 2 people, and large double bedroom (double bed 160x200). On the second floor, the Riga room : the old floor tiles gave the warm terracotta tone : design elements, desk and double bed 160x200. Finally, the Mansarde, an original and warm suite with its superb exposed framework and its exotic nods : living room with large sofa bed (sleeps 2 people), desk and small bedroom with double bed. Elegant private shower or bath rooms and toilets for each, and always with a view of the Château or the church and the limestone hillsides, or even both.
