From Oloron Sainte-Marie after the village of Lanne-en-Barétous, turn on your left (D 632). Park on the first big parking on the left (informations'board on the right). Cross the cattle grid and continue on the path. Depending on the season, there may be a fence blocking the way. Go to the building on the right and open the gate (remember to close it properly!) Get back onto the track for 1.6 km until the mountain pass where there's a sign for a hairpin bend. Leave the path and go straight down a slope that starts out pebbly then you'll reach a meadow taking you to the Col de Hournères.
