Excursion to the Camargue
Description
Spend half a day surrounded by nature! Explore the Camargue by minibus and admire its scenery, its animals and birds, as well as its capital Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer!
THIS EXCURSION WILL INTRODUCE YOU TO THE CAMARGUE'S WILDLIFE AND THE REGION'S UNSPOILT NATURAL CHARM.
Set off to visit the Camargue Regional National Park, a nature reserve where you'll see bulls and wild horses galloping through the fields, and other native flora and fauna.
Your minibus will then head to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, the capital of the Camargue region, where you'll visit the town and discover its famous fortress church. Enjoy some free time to take a swim at one of the numerous beaches in the area, and soak in the natural charm of the region.
You will also have the option of visiting the Pont de Gau ornithological park, a site devoted to the different species of rare birds that can be found in the Camargue.
At the end of the day, your driver will take you back to Aix en Provence.
