DISCOVER THE TRENCADIS TECHNIQUE USED IN PARK GÜELL AND MAKE YOUR OWN PIECE OF MOSAIC ART.
Your host Angelika is a successful mosaic artist who is particularly skilled in the modernist style developed by Gaudi in Barcelona. Indeed, the city is world-famous for the masterpieces of mosaic created by Gaudi and his contemporaries; the Güell Park and Palace are two of the finest examples of this typically Catalonian art form.
In this two-hour workshop, Angelika will reveal the methods behind the trencadis technique and give you the opportunity to create your own piece of mosaic art. You can experiment with the different applications of mosaics, such as decorating a picture frame. Angelika will provide everything you need to create your own mini-masterpiece, coaching you on the techniques that she expertly masters.

* AVAILABILITY: Monday to Saturday (apart from exceptional dates)
* TIMES: 10am or 3pm, Saturaday 10am only
* DURATION: 2 hours
* LANGUAGES: English, German, Spanish (Castilian), Catalan
* This is a creative workshop – be prepared to get your hands dirty!
* Available for groups from 2 to 10 people
* Depending of the size of the piece of mosaic art you will create, it will be ready for pick-up either on the same day or the next morning.
* You will collect your mosaic on the same day or the next morning, depending on its size.
Cancellation terms
Cancellations free of charge until 7 days before the activity
No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
