Au jardin d'Emilie is a single-storey 90m2 gîte for 2/4 people, located in a small village called Sundhouse in central Alsace.
Just 500 m from the Rhone-Rhine canal, with its cycle path and hiking trails, and a 5-minute walk from the village center (supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, butcher's, restaurants and bars), close to Europa Park (20km), Rust, Germany.
It's hard to imagine, but this house was dismantled and reassembled twice, 10km from Sundhouse!
This typical Alsatian house has an independent entrance on the east side, and opens onto the flowers where lunchtime welcomes you with garden furniture and barbecue.
On sunny days, you can enjoy a large terrace overlooking the green spaces, the swimming pool or simply relax.
A palette of soft colors, a subtle blend of textures, and a whimsical touch that plays with the times.... This house is intended as a gateway to the pleasures of the countryside. All the furnishings and decorations speak of the surrounding nature and the inner peace it brings. The materials used are natural: wood, wicker, cotton and linen.
Finely chosen, each object is in its place and tells its own story.
Take a look at the old barn, brimming with vintage cars (B2- 202-201), a passion of the owners.
The south-facing kitchen opens onto the living room, where you'll find a table from Elyane's grandfather's trade as a clogmaker, decorated with elements from the roof. Two large bedrooms, shower room and WC.
Bed linen, household linen, cleaning products, baby equipment, parking in an enclosed courtyard.
Whether you're a couple, a family or a group of friends, there's something for everyone, on foot, by bike, in a boat or canoe, whatever the season. Around the house, you can let yourself be carried away by Alsatian traditions and gastronomy.
The Ried plain is the ideal destination for a wide range of natural and cultural heritage activities, unusual tours and local produce.
And don't forget Alsace's must-sees! Visits to typical villages, towns of art and history, castles, Alsace wine routes, amusement and wildlife parks....etc.
