Arboretum in the heart of the garrigue with iconic species from Mediterranean orchards, accessible via a hiking trail.
This arboretum showcases many iconic species from Mediterranean orchards, such as fig, jujube and pomegranate trees, offering a rich and lively overview of the local botanical diversity.
Throughout the trail, visitors discover the characteristics of these plants and their traditional culinary uses, which are closely linked to the history and expertise of the region.
The arboretum is located along the ‘Garrigue Gourmande’ interpretive trail and the ‘La Fourque du Porc’ hiking route, accessible only on foot.
As you continue along the path, don't miss Mazet Lebrun, an unusual place where a mazet (small stone house) and its garden are home to a collection of animal sculptures made from garrigue stone.
