SET OFF TO DISCOVER CHINESE CUISINE ON A CULINARY MARKET TOUR THEN TAKE PART IN A COOKERY WORKSHOP!
This culinary experience will start off with a visit to a local market, accompanied by a gourmet guide. Your guide will lead you into the heart of the Hutongs, Beijing's popular neighbourhoods, to discover the Chinese capital's culinary specialities. You will walk around the stands of the market to buy ingredients for your meal.
Once you've gathered the necessary groceries, you will head to the workshop of one of the region's renowned chefs. Within this fully equipped kitchen, you will learn to cook traditional Chinese dishes such as steamed Pekinese dumplings, pineapple pork with sweet-and-sour sauce, peanut chicken or wok-fried beef.
The chef will show you his techniques and let you in on many secrets of Chinese cuisine.
At the end of your workshop, you will savour the dishes you have made, and will also taste specialities prepared by the chef!
