This center showcases a year-round vivarium with up to 1,000 free-flying butterflies, a huge insectarium, a gallery devoted to Earth’s most diverse and abundant animal group and home of the largest leafcutter ant colony in the US, and a floor-to-ceiling displays of the Museum’s scientific collections spread out across three levels that help us understand the natural world and global cultures.
