
It was built in 1873 on the site of the old church.
The renewed interest in the Middle Ages at this time explains the choice of the neo-Gothic style for the church. In the chapel of the Virgin, the capital dating from the 14th or 15th century appears to be the last surviving example of the former Gothic church. The choir paintings created for Abbé Moussié depict the heavenly court: Christ, the Virgin and the Saints, who are portraits of the parishioners of the time.
