Between La Haye-du-Puits and Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte, the National Nature Reserve of La Sangsurière and Adriennerie is one of the last active peat bogs on the plain, with more than 10 metres of peat thickness. On the site, 230 different botanical species can be discovered, of which about fifty are protected or rare (orchids such as the summer spirthe and carnivorous plants).
The fauna also enjoys the reserve: Montagu's harrier, lapwing, but also a small dragonfly, the agrion de Mercure.
Car park, picnic area, viewpoint. Educational panels at the entrance to the reserve. Guided tours provided by the Parc des Marais (by reservation).
