Jardins partagés de Venoix

There are around ten shared gardens in Caen. This is a more recent form of organization than allotments, where plots and crops are grown collectively.

The mission of the Venoix shared garden association is to create, maintain, animate and manage shared gardens on land made available to the association; to cultivate using ecological site management; and to promote social cohesion and social, intergenerational and intercultural diversity, by providing a place for meetings, exchanges and conviviality.
