Located in rue de la Mer, stroll through this exceptional park, home to a variety of trees, birds and children's play equipment.
The magnificent peacocks roam free.
- Ideal for family walks, you can also discover the symbol of the Goblins, the skeleton of the Whale.
- The town, in partnership with the Vikazim club, offers two fun orienteering courses in the municipal park:
Course for 5-7 year olds: A search adapted to your age group, with a map and photo clues.
Course for 8-10 year-olds: a life-size observation game with a map.
The concept: Children have to locate markers to collect letters and piece together a mystery word. Once they've solved the riddle, head to the Maison de la Baleine to discover the secrets of the famous cetacean.
- In the Maison de la Baleine (Whale House), which is free to enter, you'll find an area devoted to whale stories and anecdotes, a memorandum on whale hunting and protection, a scientific area containing anatomical and physiological data on these mammals, a film retracing the history of the Luc whale, a retrospective on the beaching of the elfin whale with period documents, and a souvenir shop stocked with postcards, books, etc.
