This castle from the Renaissance period was built on the remnants of an old stronghold house from the 14th century which had belonged to the Fromenton family from Bresson. The south side of the castle opens out onto a terraced French style garden and overlooks the Bievre valley.
The château's south-facing facade opens onto a terraced formal garden and the Bièvre plain.
Its staircase and trompe l'oeil turret, designed by Philibert Delorme, are just some of the remarkable features.
The château is open to visitors every year for the Heritage Days (3rd weekend in September).
