Located in the King’s Lodge, above the Great Gate, at the entrance to the High-Town, the Museum of Old Granville is dedicated to local history, especially the town’s maritime activities (fishermen, Grand Banks and privateers) and its seaside resort. Museum of regional ethnography, it displays collections of headdresses, costumes, and jewellery evoking life in 19th century Normandy. An additional room is given over to a display of characteristic Granville furniture. Temporary exhibitions.
