The starting point for this excursion is at the foot of the Musée d'Orsay or the Parc de la Villette. At the first lock, the boat will turn off the river onto Canal Saint Martin and you will see the pleasure boats lining the pretty Port de l'Arsenal as you approach Bastille.
Suddenly, the boat passes through an underground tunnel and you will find yourself plunged into mysterious darkness. Resurface amid the buzzing picturesque streets of central Paris, in the authentic and romantic district that's home to the Hôtel du Nord.
