Maybe a "day out at the races" suggests ladies in big hats at Royal Ascot. Well, you might just spot a big hat at Saint-Galmier racecourse. But mainly, you'll just see people enjoying the races and maybe having a bet.
If you don't know anything about it, the behind-the-scenes tour is definitely for you.
If the jockeys do not escape the weigh-in, the horses, like high-level athletes, pass the anti-doping control. So on your marks, set, bet!

Some useful information:
- Reservation is required
- The tour route is not suitable for people in wheelchairs.
- The price of entry to the racecourse site is included in the price of the guided tour and after the tour you can attend all the scheduled races and leave the premises whenever you wish.
- Animals, even on a leash, are not welcome.
- For the youngest participants, great vigilance is required when moving towards the boxes and near the horses.
