La Planteliere

“La Plantelière” is an excellent place to explore flora and fauna and it covers an area of 7Ha (17.3 acre), on the doorsteps of Aurillac. The site consists of several spaces with a wide variety of trees: maples, conifers, fruit trees, ash trees, willows, thuja, beeches…
Explore its themed gardens, wildflower meadows, hedge maze, vegetable garden, orchards, educational pond...
Here, maintenance and gardening are carried out without pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers.
La Plantelière is open to visitors free of charge, with explanatory panels and orientation trails (downloadable from aurillacagglo.fr/planteliere).
A reading box, large wooden games and numerous activities bring the site to life.
