Gîte la Maison des Gautraies

It's a house you'll quickly feel at home in, just a few minutes from Angers, nestled in peaceful surroundings close to our farm. The gîte has six comfortable bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor, with a total of seven beds and a BZ, plus a single bed for an adult. Each sleeping area has been designed to combine comfort and practicality.

There's also a games room with table football, pool table, board games and a small children's corner. Three bathrooms with showers and three toilets make it easy to organise groups.

The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for all your culinary needs, with a large family dining table, dishwasher, induction hob, microwave, oven, food processor, full set of crockery, Dolce Gusto filter and capsule coffee makers (NEO and Mini Me models), toaster, kettle, raclette set, etc. There's also a beer tapping machine, so all you need to do is bring your 5-litre kegs!

The living room is a cosy cocoon where you can gather around a comfortable sofa, TV box and fibre connection.

Outside, a jacuzzi invites you to relax - it remains closed from 21 November to 20 March, but can be made available on request at extra cost in winter. The petanque area, barbecue, brazier and large table with benches make the most of the fine weather. The 700 m² garden, currently under construction until autumn 2025, will be ready to welcome its first visitors in spring 2026. A large car park, secured by video surveillance, completes the complex.

An adjoining room completes the venue for your events or parties. It has a fridge, lighting, a dart board and barrels for a convivial atmosphere. Tables can be added for meals or meetings (maximum 15 people). We simply ask each group to leave the room clean and welcoming, as no cleaning is carried out between rentals.

Additional services are available, including the provision of towels and equipment for the little ones, such as a cot or high chair. For longer stays, special rates are available.

Situated just fifteen minutes from Angers, the gîte offers ideal access to a host of activities: cultural discoveries around the Château d'Angers, museums, vineyards and parks; nature escapades with hikes, bike rides or water sports on the Loire. Nearby are the Jardin des Kangourous, Terra Botanica, the L'Atoll shopping and leisure centre, a supervised swimming pond, a diving school and the Lion d'Angers racecourse. Saumur, its wine cellars and the châteaux of the Loire are an hour's drive away, and the Puy du Fou is only an hour and a half away.

Essential amenities such as supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies and bars are just five kilometres away, making your stay as easy as it is comfortable.
