Les Étoiles de Fontevraud

Guided by the light of the lanterns, visitors will set off to discover this visionary man and his incredible legacy, notably through a new animated film directed by Jean-Baptiste Peltier, specifically for the star trail. This immersive journey, where light and sound blend harmoniously, will plunge you into the fascinating story of the founding of Fontevraud and its spiritual influence in the Middle Ages.

Using light effects in the abbey, projections on the facades and sound effects, this poetic experience will take you on a unique journey that will amaze spectators and leave them suspended under the stars. An experience not to be missed during A Summer at Fontevraud.

Every evening at the end of the tour, a winegrower will present and offer a glass of Saumur as part of the entry ticket for Les Étoiles de Fontevraud (in partnership with the Crémant de Loire and Saumur Fines Bulles appellations).
