Provence Occitane is located in the Gard region of France. It borders Vaucluse, Ardèche and Cévennes. A vast territory, bordered by the Rhône and Ardèche rivers and crossed by the Cèze, Tave and other smaller tributaries.

Its landscapes are rich! There are forests, garrigue, orchards, vineyards, lavender fields and 44 towns and villages.

Its capital is Bagnols-sur-Cèze, a city of art and culture located downstream from the Cèze valley. It forms the central axis of the region and hosts a wide range of events in summer and winter alike.

Provence Occitane is proud to boast 3 villages classified as "Most Beautiful Villages in France": Aiguèze, La-Roque-sur-Cèze and Montclus.
