The Pierre André Benoit Museum
Description
Pierre André Benoit (PAB), printer, poet, sculptor and draughtsman, donated his collection of modern art to the city of Alès to create the museum that bears his name.
Exceptional collection of modern and contemporary art, donated by the publisher Pierre André Benoit: paintings, drawings and engravings by Aleschinsky, Braque, Picasso, Miró.
The works are presented in the old castle of Rochebelle.
The museum also houses 450 books by PAB combining poetry and paintings in an exceptional collection unique in France.
