The Mas-Vieux Saint-Antonin chapel, built on the Cailloup site on the left bank of the Ariège, is the oldest religious building in the town of Pamiers.
The church was built between 1110 and 1120 and was damaged in the 16th century during the Wars of Religion. The residential buildings date from the 17th and 18th centuries. In 1791, the building became a farm for two centuries. In 1989, the property was bought by the town of Pamiers, and in 1992 the building was listed as a historic monument, which was restored between 0998 and 2001. The interior decoration of the church, dating from the 12th century, contains unique elements of Romanesque art.
