Vendée Yourte - Le Kota Finlandais

The Finnish Kota, whose name means 'hunting shelter' in Lappish, is a hexagonal chalet made of rough-hewn wood and half-round logs, offering a unique and immersive experience. Originally from Finland, it has been traditionally used for over a century by the Saami people, an indigenous group who live mainly from reindeer herding, hunting and fishing in the great cold of the wild north.

Today, the Kota Finlandais has been extended to offer you unusual and comfortable rooms, allowing you to experience a night (or more) in a real chalet in the far north. Don't worry, it's equipped with a pellet stove and large cushions and blankets to keep you cosy despite the chilly temperatures.

Sleeps: up to 4 people

Layout : One double bed (140×190) and two single beds (70×190)

Kitchen: Access to a private kitchen, except for Wonderbox, Abracadaroom or Smartbox gift packs.

🚿 Sanitary facilities and amenities

In keeping with the authenticity of this unusual room, the sanitary facilities are located outside, just a few steps from the Kota, for total immersion in the Nordic experience.
