Exposition permanente - Mémoires du Textile

At the foot of the mountain in Vosges, with a verdant environment, the Museum "Memories of the Textile" is located into the former textile factory (from 1850 to 1978), that keeps the memory and know-how trail of thousands of employees. The machines come to life right under visitors’ eyes to explain all the manufacturing processes from cotton ball to final fabric. Calico makers, cotton spinner, weaver, warping… so many disappeared trades and gestures to discover again.
This Museum is open, from May to October, 2 times a week (Groups on appointment all year).
