Château de Tocqueville

Home of Alexis de Tocqueville, author of "Democracy in America" who is buried in the village cemetery. Old manor house of the XVIth century enlarged by a house of the XVIIIth century and a square pavilion of the XIXth century, reflected on the pond designed by Mary Motley, the wife of Alexis de Tocqueville.
