Walloon Brabant’s archaeological museum

The Mia BW, Walloon Brabant’s archaeological museum in the Castle of Hélécine, takes children back in time to learn about archaeology while having fun.With their school or on summer courses, they will learn about the everyday lives of reindeer hunters or nomadic hunter-gatherers, the main tools, and how to light a fire using flint and marcasite, hunt a mammoth or reindeer or paint on the walls of the Folx-les-Caves grottoes.(On reservation) Various activities are organised throughout the year:Join in on the "Prehistoric Family" activity for an afternoon and travel back in time with your family.Visit the museum "à la carte" in your own bubble.Take your toddlers (under 6) to discover the animals and the mammoth (sensory approach and storytelling).
