The En Chantier association has worked to develop a benevolent ecosystem around the Cantine du Midi and the Drogueria grocery shop in this under-privileged urban area.
This community hub emphasises the human dimension of cooking, where all cultures and generations come together to exchange ideas. The aim is also to make balanced, sustainable food accessible, in particular through suspended hampers. A baking workshop rounds off the programme. Here, once again, bread-making
offers itself up as a way of passing on know-how from a wide range of backgrounds, as well as promoting the benefits of sourdough and quality
flours. Everything has been designed to promote a culture of mutual aid and bring people closer.
