Umbrella of the Old Port

New landmark on the Old Port designed by the British Norman Foster, the 22m by 48m Ombrière has a triple function.
- to shelter passers-by waiting for the maritime shuttles
- to host events: concerts, markets, shows ...
- to take "stunning" pictures of the Old Port and its walkers

120 polished stainless steel panels make up the roof, which is supported by 8 posts, 6 meters above the ground.
Inaugurated in March 2013, the Ombrière is the new meeting point on a semi-pedestrian Old Port where it is good to stroll.
