Observatoire Astronomique de Marseille

Description

The Marseilles Observatory, created in 1702 by the Jesuits in their Collège de Sainte-Croix, on the Montée des Accoules, was taken over by the State in 1763 and, a century later, transferred to the Plateau Longchamp, where it still stands today.
