Chapelle Notre-Dame de Nazareth

Description

In Romanesque-Provençal style, it is oriented East-West. The present porch dates from the 16th century.
It is Romanesque-Provençal in style and faces east-west. The present porch dates from the 16th century. The present square bell tower was built in the 16th century, when it replaced the bells on the gable wall in a wall-belfry on the west side when the church was extended.
The wooden arrow was replaced by a cupola in 1820 following lightning damage. The old bell was blessed in 1820 and replaced in 1925. It was cast by the "Toussaint Maurel workshops".
The cross, on the North-East façade a large mission cross, recalling the one preached in 1840. The tin hat has been replaced by a small tile construction.
At the back of the choir is a gilded wooden statue of Our Lady Of Nazareth dating from the 17th century.
