



The small chapel of the "Nerthe"( Myrte, in provençal) is the ancient church of a small village of which nothing remains. Consecrated in 1042, it became a very popular place of pilgrimage in Marseille. People come there to pray to the Madonna of the Hen (Hence its other name : Notre-Dame de la Galline).
Access on foot, by bike, by car.
Mass on the first Saturday of the month at 10am.
The church is open by appointment after contacting Mr. Fouque.
Pilgrimage : September 8.
Paul Guigou painted it in 1860.
Free of charge.
