Ancien séchoir à peaux d'une tannerie
Description
En bas des 104 marches, au pied du rocher fortifié, l'ancien séchoir à peaux d'une tannerie. Jusqu'au début du XXe siècle, c'est tout un quartier qui vivait au rythme de ses tanneurs, traversant le pont de la pierre en poussant de drôles de chariots pour porter les peaux d'un bâtiment à l'autre. Une tannerie toujours en activité, pratique le tannage à l'ancienne à l'écorce de chêne et fournit la haute couture parisienne.
